Ordered: June 14, 2014nReceived: June 15, 2014nPackaging: GreatnContents: Laptop, Charger, Windows 8.1 Recovery Disc, Manuals, Targus Bag (Freebie)nnUser: Mostly my wife (A Light User)nOther Contenders: Dell Vostro (exactly same config but with Ubuntu) & HP Pavilion 15-260TX (same config)nWhy did I choose this:n1> Amazing Flipkart offer - 10% discount + 10% cashback on Standard Chartered Cards. It cost me 29400/- instead of 36290/- (Savings: 6900/-)n2> Wife did not want a Pirated Windows 8.1, so Ubuntu was off the listn3> HP was 15.6", so bigger, heavier.n4> No VGA Port (instead a HDMI port) but my wife needs a VGA for Projectors, didn't want to put in more money for converter.n5> Finally, HP was offering AMD 2 GB Dedicated Graphics Card whereas Dell offered NVIDIA GeForce 2 GB Dedicated Graphics Card. Didn't want to compromise on Gaming abilitiesnnInitial Laptop Review-nnPros:n1> Great specs at the final discounted price.n2> Good old Windows to take care of all your official work without any hasslen3> Very light & compactn4> Handles multiple tasks welln5> 14" form factor is best for daily laptops in my opinion.n6> Video streaming & playback was without any lags (HD Videos)nnCons:n1> Looks are average. No curves, all squarish.n2> Plasticky body doesn't feel sturdyn3> HP was amazing in both these departmentsn4> Touchpad has integrated keys which are not 100% accurate alwaysnnI'll add in my gaming experience + first week review after a week.nnSummary: A good laptop for beginners like students or someone who already has a better config laptop. I'm mostly against Netbooks coz they compromise a lot on the performance, so this a great upgrade/replacement for one's sluggish netbook.nPick the HP 260TX lappie if you want to flaunt it in cafes/colleges.
Pls. note that the Dell is Selling faulty laptops in the Indian Market. Have purchased Dell Laptop. They have replaced the mother board 3 times. 4th time they had agreed that the refurbished laptop was sold as a new one. totally useless laptops....Beware.....
I am writing this review after using this laptop for 1 month. The laptop is made of plastic body. It looks cheap product. Pros: Light weight, battery backup is good Performance: Processor is very slow, touch pad and keypad is very bad I have used my previous dell laptop for five years. I have lost complete faith on dell after buying this one. I do not advise to buy this product. Lenovo flex series is much better.
price : good Delivery : on time product feature : as promise About Product : laptop running slow and getting hand time to time
It is light-weight and powerful. It does not have any LED indicators except for power LED, even that turns off soon after the laptop boots - it does not really matter to me but it was a surprise to not find those indicators that I am so used to.
