Overall: Come on. Why the hell anyone will buy this if you can purchase macbook air top model for Rs 80,000 just for a tablet integration which no one cares. So its 40k costlier than macbook air and with almost same configuration and macbook air is much bett...

Verdict
The Dell XPS 12 (DD2GN154) Ultrabook has all the features which make it a handsome, sleek, sturdy and power packed laptop but is slightly disappointing while being operated in the tablet mode. It can be easily used for work while travelling or in the office. It is definitely one of the best attempts of giving the versatility of two gadgets in one.
Awesome tablet-notebook combo
Display

The Dell XPS 12 (DD2GN154) Ultrabook carries a sharp and vivid 12.5-inch LED backlit display which looks extremely bright with the True Life display. The full HD panel is great for watching movies and photos. The IPS panel ensures crisp viewing even from wide angles which makes it great, especially in the tablet mode. A corning gorilla glass cover on the top makes it durable as well.

Dynamic Build

The Ultrabook has a sleek but robust body with a thickness of 20mm and a weight of 1.54kg giving you the liberty to carry it around easily. The hinge fold pattern enables you to change the device from a notebook to a tablet precisely and smoothly. All you need to do is rotate the screen 180 degrees. Since the screen is way bigger than those present in conventional tablets, it has more weight and needs to be either held by two hands or rested in the lap.

A backlit keyboard and a glass integrated button touchpad supporting multiple gestures carry out the input tasks.

Processor and OS

This hybrid is powered by 3rd generation Intel i7 processor galloping at 3GHz. It is supported by a mighty 8GB DDR3 RAM so that multitasking becomes a breeze. It manages graphics with the Intel HD 4000 GPU and runs on 64 bit Windows 8 OS.

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

The 1.3MP camera in the Dell XPS 12 (DD2GN154) Ultrabook is paired with dual array digital microphone. For storage purposes, it has a 256GB SSD memory which retrieves files at lightning fast speeds. The Waves MaxxAudio v4.0 technology powers the stereo speakers.

Battery and Connectivity

The Dell XPS 12 (DD2GN154) Ultrabook gives you the freedom to work throughout the day without carrying your charger as it promises a continuous service for up to 8 hours with a 4 cell Li-ion battery. Connectivity features include 20 pin mini display slot, 9 pin USB 3.0 port supporting Windows debugging and PowerShare, Bluetooth v4.0, 1 USB 3.0 slot, WLAN and Gigabit Ethernet.
