Built by the Shriners and opened as a movie and vaudeville theater in 1927, the Temple has a great history. The actual theater is only about a fourth of what's contained under the building's roof.

Illegal gambling was secretly conducted inside hidden chambers accessed through a series of tunnels.

By cover of night, bootleggers brought in booze and other substances from the Saginaw river via underground passageways.

Theatre employees report the existence of several spirits currently inhabiting the grounds.

Reported to be one of the most haunted theaters in North America.
