Aashiqui 3, a Bollywood romantic drama-thriller, is set to hit theatres in the fourth quarter of 2023. Kartik Aaryan has been cast as the film's lead protagonist. There have been various rumors that Jennifer Winget is being considered for the starring role, but no official confirmation has been made by the makers of the movie. The soundtracks for the previously released installments of the film series including Aashiqui and Aashiqui 2, were a big success among the audiences and are still to date treated as timeless songs. As such, it is believed that the third movie will also be coming up with some amazing soundtracks and Pritam has been tapped to produce the music for this sequel. The casting selections have been announced by the film's production team, which includes Mukesh Bhatt as producer, Anurag Basu as director, Pritam as a composer, Kartik as co-producer, and Bhushan Kumar as a writer.
This film marks the sixth collaboration between producer Bhushan Kumar and actor Kartik Aaryan.
