Agni is a political drama serial in Assamese that aired on Rang TV. The serial depicts the tale of a family that suffered greatly as a result of a person's unbridled desire for power. Another powerful politician named Mukunda is portrayed as someone who will stop at nothing to elevate himself above others and doesn't give a damn about the well-being of his own family. Ayush, the son of Mukunda and Rewati, who was brought up by him, had already lost the ability to discern right from wrong. He had been misled since he was a little child, therefore Rewati has treated him like a pet. Aditi is shown to be a powerful woman who always defends herself. As the series goes on, they gradually get to know one another and fall in love. However, they get entangled in the ensuing political intrigue. The cast has done a fine job and the serial is full of emotions and drama.
