Hanover High school is the same High school used in Project X.
All the episode titles from season 1 are jokes about the male genitalia. Correspondingly, all the episode titles from season 2 are fecal puns.
The series heavily parodies the true-crime drama also featured on Netflix, Making a Murderer (2015)
The high school that's used for Hanover High School is actually Palisades High in Pacific Palisades. However the faculty parking lot shown in the film is not part of Palisades High.
The vandalism from season 1 takes place on March 15th, regarded as an unlucky day (commonly known as 'the ides of March')
"Dylan Maxwell: Another day, another dick."
