Bar Fight at the end of Avengement has been nominated for 2020's Taurus World Stunt Award for Best Fight. Scott Adkins character Cain takes on a gang single-handedly in a pub. The fighters use knives, cricket bats, guns, bottles and a crow bar. While throwing each other into furniture and walls. Nominated Stunt Performers are Lee Charles, Conor Hegarty, David Nolan, Donal O'Shea and Tiago Silva doubling Scott Adkins.
Lead Actor Scott Adkins has named this as one of his favourite films, although the sole thing he hates is the title as "Avengement isnt even a word"
The German ratings board FSK rejected three different versions of the film (for glorification of violence). Only after an appeal, the third version (which misses 73 seconds) was rated "Not under 18".
There is a poster in the Horse and Jockey pub at the beginning of the film which reads Satanic Mechanix, which is the band which Scott Adkins' character killed in Accident Man (2018), the previous film between Scott Adkins and director Jesse V. Johnson.
