IMDbI grew up thinking this was an awesome show about a kid who can transform himself into aliens with powers using an alien-made watch and wanders around the country and the world to save the planet .The alien creatures Ben can transform into are well designed. The alien transformation sequences, like the anime transformations, are very creative for Western animation. There's a lot of action and comedy as well. Also, as the series progresses, Ben encounters more aliens, ensuring that the plot does not become monotonous.Ben Tennyson is a very cute protagonist in terms of joy and adorableness. its a Wonderful story. The alien designs are phenomenal. It had many hilarious moments. In reality of course, Ben Tennyson is the character with the most funny bits scenes. Its a much watch show for kids.

Originally the omnitrix was supposed to allow Ben become alternative versions of himself instead of aliens. This later became the idea for Ben 10 Omniverse which has to do with alternative versions of Ben.
Gwen was originally supposed to be a classmate and a close friend of Ben's instead of being his cousin.
Cannonbolt was originally meant to be in the original set of 10 aliens, but was eventually dropped in favor of Diamondhead. His early design looked more like an insect and he had two shells in each side of his head, along with knobs which would pop up.
Ghostfreak was a part of the opening but due to his departure he was later replaced with Cannonbolt.
The series was heavily influenced by old Hanna-Barbera action/adventure shows, such as Jonny Quest and Secret Squirrel.
"Grandpa Max Tennyson: Being a hero isn't about letting others know you did the right thing, it's about you knowing you did the right thing. Ben Tennyson: What were you just doing, reading greeting cards back at the Mega Mart? Grandpa Max Tennyson: Well... yes."
