TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Sam Mraovich is credited 20 times in the movie: 11 during the opening titles and 9 during the end credits.

The role of Victor (played by Mike Haboush) was originally Victoria. Victoria was supposed to be the mother of Arthur. Sam Mraovich ultimately decided it would be more powerful to portray Arthur's nemesis as a closeted gay man, so he changed the role to that of Arthur's brother and cast gay porn star Michael Haboush in the role. In the shooting script that Mraovich self-published, though, he accidentally left the name Victoria in several places.

In financial planning, "The Story of Ben and Arthur" is a scenario used to demonstrate the benefits of early investing to college students and recent high school graduates.

Popular Dialogues

"Bar Owner: That's great. Now let's see your penis."

"Ben Sheets: Tammy - I'm gay! I've already told you that! Tammy Sheets: Ben - I'll be gay too, and then that'll make it all right for us to get married again, huh? Ben Sheets: You are not making any sense! Tammy Sheets: Hey! I don't make sense? You don't make sense! I make sense, that's who makes sense!"
