Almost all of the songs performed in this concert and the "Sing to Me Instead" tour are from Ben Platt's debut album of the same name, which was released by Atlantic Records on March 29, 2019. "Rain," another one of Platt's original songs performed at this concert, does not originate from the album and was instead released as a separate single on August 23, 2019.
A deluxe edition of Ben Platt's debut album, "Sing to Me Instead," where almost all the songs performed in the concert come from, was released in conjunction with this special. This edition will feature live recordings of select songs from the concert, along with the single, "So Will I," which Platt wrote during the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic.
Ben Platt's cover of Stevie Wonder's "Overjoyed," while performed at the concert, is not featured in the special.
