IMDbPitch Perfect is a musical comedy film, rarely seen in modern Hollywood. With an ensemble cast that portrays an all-girl a cappella group in college. Released several years back, the movie is still quite relevant because of its exciting screenplay, amazing songs, and some superb acting. There are songs that you can groove to all day long, humour that is not forced, and a plot that keeps you involved until the end. What more do you need from a fun watch like Pitch Perfect? Anna Kendrick smoothly anchors the entire ensemble cast as they show the lives of young women looking to make their mark in an industry they truly resonate with. It shows how everyone must deal with their inner demons as well as their external competition to succeed and make a name for themselves. The movie is predictable, but you will still love watching it for all the other stuff.

During the Riff-Off, Ester Dean sings S&M, which was co-written by her.
Brittany Snow said that Rebel Wilson improvised most of her lines and would go on 20-minute tangents that would have the whole cast and crew in stitches.
Upon seeing the title, Adam Devine thought that Pitch Perfect was a baseball movie, and thus wasn't prepared to sing a song at his audition. The producers told him to sing any song, and he chose the Full House theme song. They were impressed and he was hired as the role of Bumper.
The story line between Bumper and Fat Amy was not in the script. Adam Devine and Rebel Wilson would improvise during their scenes together, and Devine would often try to kiss her. This led to Devine and Wilson to create a backstory for their two characters and their relationship. The filmmakers thought the hostile, sexual chemistry between the two was funny and kept some of the scenes in the film, though according to the two actors, there was a lot that was cut out, including a reference to a one-night stand.
Elizabeth Banks and John Michael Higgins filmed all their scenes in one day.
"Aubrey: What's your name? Fat Amy: Fat Amy. Aubrey: You call yourself Fat Amy? Fat Amy: Yeah, so twig bitches like you don't do it behind my back."
"Cynthia Rose: I have a confession to make. Fat Amy: We all know where this is going. Lesbi-honest. Cynthia Rose: This is hard for me to admit to you guys, but for the past two years, I have had a serious gambling problem. Fat Amy: What? Beca: What? Cynthia Rose: It all started when I broke up with my girlfriend. Fat Amy: Whomp, there it is!"
