TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Lenny Henry drank all 10 milkshakes at the same time for real and it was filmed in one take.

It was this film, part of the BBC's TV movie strand 'Screen One' that convinced Richard Curtis that a TV budget could let a theatrical quality film be made and released and soon after he began work on 'Four Weddings And A Funeral'.

The ninja turtle Leonardo, brought to life by the genie, is portrayed in this film for the last time by David Forman, who played the role in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), but was replaced for the sequels.

Inspired by "The Book of One Thousand and One Nights".

Released on DVD in the UK on 4th September 2007.

Popular Dialogues

"Charles Pinkworth: That's a good point, Bernard. That's a fully-fledged bastard of a good point."

"Frank Kepple: If you ever need anything, you just call and I'll be up there faster than a poker up a pervert."
