Sumeet Saigal claimed that after seeing the rushes of a dance song he did with Govinda, Govinda got insecure. Saigal claimed that everyone dubbed for the film except Govinda. The allegation was that Govinda was trying to delay the film. Saigal claimed that Govinda went to the director and asked him to slash Sumeet's dance part. Misra refused and Govinda decided to not dub for the film.

Govinda sings for the first time with the song Jawan Jawan, a cover of Pakistani song Hawa Hawa.
Sumeet Saigal got injured during a fight scene with Gulshan Grover. He fell from 20 feet and fractured his arm.
Sisir Mishra noticed Govinda and Neelam had stopped talking to each other during the making of the film. Then Neelam stopped giving dates saying she was unavailable. Aftee the film was released Neelam stated in all publications she was unhappy with how her role shaped up. She felt she was given a raw deal while the director only concentrated on Govinda.
