The makers of HITCH sued the makers, as they felt the film copied scenes from the original film without taking copyright.
Director David Dhawan first collaborated with Govinda for the film, Taaqatwar (1989). He went on to work with the actor in 17 movies, with the last one being Do Knot Disturb (2009).
Govind had a guest appearance in Salman's movie Andaz Apna Apna. However they didn't shared the screen space. Govinda had the scene with movie's other lead actor Aamir Khan.
The Sohail Khan did a cameo but he never appeared physically in the movie. His picture was used as Salman's brother-in-law in the movie.
