TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

When Rama fought Ravan, he did not look as powerful as Ravan. Ravan wore gold armour and had a strong sword. Rama however wore old cotton clothes, old ornaments in his hair and body and didn't even wear footwear. His sword was even handcrafted and ordinary. This is because Rama was banished by his mother's wishes and stuck to his old attire, even if it gave him a disadvantage.

When Rama got banished to the forest, he was not angry or sad as he respects his mother's wishes

Rama's long hair symbolises his uniqueness. It was very unusual for a warrior (especially a prince) to have such long hair. Rama however kept it long to show he is not a warrior but a fighter for peace.

Rama and Sita are very alike. They both wear similar clothing, they both have very long hair and they both share the same amount of love to each other.

The Gods helped Rama fight against Ravan due to Sita's prayers. Rama is very peaceful and respects the Gods. When he fought Ravan for abducting Sita, Rama nearly died which made Sita, Lakshman and others (including the Gods) worry. Sita prayed in order to protect Rama and the Gods provided the wounded Rama with a chakra.
