According to animator Doug Compton, the executives at Warner Bros. were furious when Daffy said, "Warner Bros. doesn't have an original bone in its body."
The first "backstage" shot in the film, a sequence that goes on for nearly a minute and a half, according to co-director Greg Ford on the DVD commentary, is one of the single longest uninterrupted shots ever attempted in animated cartoons.

The name of Bosko, Warner Bros.' first animated animation character star, can briefly be seen on one of the dressing room doors.
