TRIVIA

Trivia

Remake of British TV show of the same name released in 2016.

The wedding ring that David Tennant has on as Walt is his own personal wedding ring.

During an interview, Juliette Lewis explained why getting totally naked in front of the cast, crew and the world in the premiere episode was no big deal to her. "Throughout my career, I've always been more open to nudity when it's not related to sex. In American cinema, it's so gratuitous -- naked [equates to] sex. I'm more interested in the European vein of [acting where] you can do a scene eating dinner with no underpants on."

Director/co-creator Jenni Konner told media site Refinery29 in June 2021 that this series won't be as obsessed with sex and nudity as her previous show Girls (2012) was for its six seasons. While the premier episode did include full nudity from a skinny-dipping Juliette Lewis and Ione Skye will have her own full-frontal scene later in first season, Konner told viewers not to get used to it. She explained that Girls needed to be about sex because it asked how young women figure out who they are and what they want in one of the most tense periods of their lives. Yet, the adult portion of the Camping crew is in the 40s, so their opinions on those subjects are mostly settled. The crux of their conversations are about their attitude about sex, rather than the act itself. Konner said, "We had long conversations with actors and never do anything they're uncomfortable with. It didn't feel like that's what this show is about."

In episode 4 "Up All Night," they play Two Truths and a Lie. Jennifer Garner says "I am a spy" as one of her potential truths, which is clearly her lie. Jennifer Garner player Sydney Bristow, a CIA agent/spy/double agent on the show "Alias" (2001).
