TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

U. S. adaptation of popular Argentinian film Nine Queens (2000) starring Ricardo Darín and Gastón Pauls.

The writing credit for Steven Soderbergh is Sam Lowry, which is the protagonist of the film Brazil (1985). Soderbergh also used this pseudonym on The Underneath (1995).

Despite the fact that this was filmed in the standard spherical format, "Filmed in Panavision" is listed in the end credits.

The end credits mention special thanks to Ted Griffin, who was the writer of Ocean's Eleven, which starred George Clooney and which was directed by Steven Soderbergh, who both co-produced Criminal.

Popular Dialogues

"[last lines] Rodrigo: I have something for you. Valerie: You do? Rodrigo: Yeah, it's very special. [gives her the ring] Rodrigo: It belonged to my grandmother and her mother before her. Valerie: Oh, it's beautiful."

"Rodrigo: Hey, so, what's next? Richard Gaddis: I don't know. Maybe we should go our own ways. The Jew is going to be coming back soon. He finds out I replaced him, he'll be pissed. The Jew gets jealous."
