On Thursday, May 4, 2023, CBS is slated to broadcast the 19th episode of CSI: Vegas season 2. The popular CSI franchise's spin-off programme centres on a number of recognisable former cast members. It shows the daily lives of a number of criminal analysts and professionals who employ various types of challenging pieces of evidence to crack tough cases. Paula Newsome, Matt Lauria, and several more actors have significant parts in it. Jason Tracey is the show's director, and both fans and reviewers have given it high marks. CSI: Vegas season 2 episode 19 has not yet received an official network promo. The following episode, titled Dead Memories, will centre on Gene Farrow, who was falsely implicated in a case and has since returned to the lab covered in blood. There aren't many further specifics regarding the much awaited episode yet. The crew was investigating the bomb explosion at a high-profile party in the previous episode, Fractured, which produced some unsettling findings. Viewers can anticipate an exciting season finale as the second season continues to draw substantial viewership and praise from critics. It will be intriguing to see how the writers construct the narrative for yet another captivating episode, which is anticipated to air sometime in 2019.

CBS announced in Feb. 2021 that it gave a straight-to-series order to CSI: Vegas, a sequel to the mothership CSI series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000), for the 2021-22 season and that it will be led by returning CSI stars William Petersen and Jorja Fox as Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle. After the ending of the first season, Petersen and Fox did quit from the series. For the second season it was announced the return of Marg Helgenberger as Catherine Willows.
Paul Guilfoyle, who played Captain Jim Brass on the original series, will reprise his role in this revival series, TVLine confirmed in May 3, 2021.
The first episode was shot on May 5th 2021 according to an Instagram post by one of the actresses.
Robert Curtis Brown, who plays Undersheriff Cade Wyatt, is not a newcomer in the CSI franchise: he played Marc Snowden in CSI: Miami: Innocent (2004), Dan Keaton in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Swap Meet (2004) and Davis Ollenstein in CSI: NY: Redemption (2010).
Matt Lauria, who plays Josh Folsom, played Agent Matthew Pratt in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Zippered (2011), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Ms. Willows Regrets (2012) and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Willows in the Wind (2012).
