TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The pin Ronnie steals off another man's coat on the bus at the beginning of the film is the Honorable Service Lapel Button. It was awarded to honorably discharged veterans of World War II. It is also nicknamed the "Ruptured Duck".

The $200 check Ronnie receives for one of his stories would be worth about $2,900 in 2020.

At one point Zachary Scott's character says "... if I had my way... I'd arrange for the world to come to a complete stop at regular intervals..." Scott's co-star Richard Erdman would later star in The Twilight Zone: A Kind of a Stopwatch (1963) playing a man with a magical stopwatch that can stop time and bring the world to a complete stop whenever he wants.
