Rotten TomatoesEven though no one saw this coming, this animated Justice League movie was an amazing switch for the people who are really into these superheroes' world. It may not have been the talk of the town, but people who have seen this movie really have a lot to say about it. It is a fun movie that a kid can watch except for the fact that there are some dialogues that may not be appropriate for kids belonging to a certain age group. Apart from that, the adults will really enjoy this movie and the banter between the dogs and other characters in it. While all the characters were good on their parts, the villainous Lulu stole the show and came out to be the star of the movie, instantly becoming my favourite character in the movie. Another amazing thing about the movie are the actors who have given their voices to the characters and added life to the movie; they include Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, and more.

When Krypto stops the bank robbers at the beginning of the movie, he lifts their green car over his head. In the bottom left corner, a man grabs his own head in terror. The resulting image references the cover of Action Comics #1 (1938), the debut comic of Superman.
From a full-on front view, Krypto's nose is in the shape of the Superman S-shield, and Ace's nose resembles the Batman insignia.
PB the Wonder Woman-styled pig is a homage to Justice League Unlimited: This Little Piggy (2004), where Wonder Woman was transformed into a pig.At the end of the film when PB poses, the title appears among the slogans surrounding her.
The movie includes a number of references to Superman (1978): The opening on Krypton is designed and staged as a homage to that film's opening. Krypto's hologram of his father looks just like Superman's hologram of his father Jor-El from the film. The scene with the broken train track is nearly the same as the film. Clark Kent wears glasses with reddish colored rims, the same glasses he wears in the film. John Williams's famed theme can be heard on the soundtrack whenever Superman is in action.
Krypto was also a member of the similarly titled group The Legion of Super-Pets, which consisted of himself, Comet the Super-Horse, Streaky the Supercat, Beppo the Supermonkey and Proty, a shape-shifting alien animal from the planet Durla.
"Superman: [after using his heat vision to iron his shirt] I should call myself Iron Man. [chuckles] Superman: Nah."
"Batman: [Sees the squeaky toy of himself] That'd better be a licensed toy or I will Freak out."
