TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

When Hartley (Dwayne Johnson) arrives at Sotto Voce's masquerade party, he hands security an invitation with a QR code on it. If you pause the scene and scan the code, it brings you to an unlisted video with the movie's bloopers.

When they enter the vault at 1:27:38, John Hartley shines a light on a crate marked "Top Secret Army Intel 9906753 Do Not Open". That's the crate number which holds the Ark of the Covenant at the end of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'. Nolan Booth whistled the theme song a few seconds before.

The part of the bunk bed scene where Dwayne Johnson pretends to sleep was improvised. Ryan Reynolds's reaction to this and Dwayne's corpsing was spontaneous, genuine and kept in the final cut.

In preparation for filming the Porsche chase scene, Dwayne Johnson got stuck trying to get into the car, due to his massive frame. Shots were changed and combined in editing, to make Dwayne's entrance and exit from the Porsche appear seamless.

Both Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson drink their own brands of liquor as their characters. In separate scenes, Johnson drinks Teremana Tequila whilst Reynolds drinks Aviation American Gin.

Popular Dialogues

"Nolan Booth: [to Hartley] Why are you wearing the hairnet? You're bald."

"Nolan Booth: No, no. Don't move. Don't Move. John Hartley: Why? Nolan Booth: Bulls have terrible eyesight. But they can sense motion. John Hartley: You're thinking of Jurassic Park. Nolan Booth: No. I saw a nature documentary starring David Attenborough. John Hartley: You're thinking of Richard Attenborough from Jurassic Park. John Hartley: Vamonos. Vamonos. They're telling me to run. They're telling me to run. Nolan Booth: If you run, you die. John Hartley: All right, yes or no, was Jeff Goldblum in it? Nolan Booth: Oh, my god!. It was Jurassic Park. That's Jeff Goldblum. John Hartley: Asshole!"
