Director Suzi Yoonessi attended Nichols High school in Buffalo, New York, which is the name of the school in the film.
Was originally a short film released in 2007, also made by Suzi Yoonesi.
Vanessa describes Megan as having hair "the color of a lemon creamsicle" while hers was "the color of dirt." In the original short film, Vanessa and Megan had the same hair color.
Despite taking place in Fairbanks, Alaska, the movie was filmed in Washington state.
