First film for Kristin Davis

The Essex Mountain Sanatorium, the films location, opened its wards in 1907 with the last patient being released in 1977 with the sanatorium officially closing its doors and ceasing all operations. On the 1st of December 1982 the gates locked for the very last time and completely abandoned and was demolished in the early 1990's with the remaining outlying buildings several years later.
