TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Although Shaggy is referred to as a sheep dog, the dog who played Shaggy (Cole) is a Bearded Collie, a herding breed known for their intelligence, energy, enthusiasm, and ability to jump (known as "the Beardie bounce").

Tim Allen and Spencer Breslin also starred in The Santa Clause 2 (2002), The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (2006), and Zoom (2006) together.

The actress who played the news reporter in this film is Tim Allen's real-life wife Jane Hadjuk.

The dog's eyes on the poster art for this movie are those of Tim Allen, who plays the character that turns into a dog.

Although the writing credits are supplied by the Writers Guild of America (WGA), and cannot be changed, there is an on-screen credit: "suggested by The Hound of Florence by Felix Salten".

Popular Dialogues

"Larry: Oh my God, it's a trap. Dr. Gwen Lichtman: Dogs don't set traps. Larry: Yeah, well, dogs don't live 300 years either."
