Ek Tha Tiger is Salman Khan's first foray into the YRF spy universe, which is developing with three lead actors - Salman, Shah Rukh Khan, and Hrithik Roshan. This exhilarating watch shows the story of a RAW agent who travels internationally on a mission, and ends up falling for a Pakistani ISI agent, Zoya. This is a rather pleasant entertainer that has it all - mystery, romance, comedy, and thrill. Combining both romance and action, the pairing of Salman and Katrina is also bang on. Apart from that, all the lead characters look convincing in their roles, courtesy the appropriate costuming and makeup routine in the film. Furthermore, the screenplay and action are just about right; right before the line that goes on to over-the-top, fake-looking scenes. Finally, the music and soundtrack adds up to a fun watch overall, and makes it one of the best action movies by superstar Salman Khan.

In the scene where Tiger is painting Zoya, that's actually the artwork of Salman Khan, the person who portrays Tiger. Salman reportedly painted that picture while the crew was setting up the cameras etc.
While shooting for movie in Turkey, Salman Khan and rest of the crew would often visit cafe del mar which was close to shooting location. It soon become their favorite place to hang out at the end of shooting, the cafe popularly known as SALMAN KHAN's cafe
Hrithik Roshan was strongly considered for the role of Tiger.
This is Katrina(Zoya)'s first action and stunt movie. Most of the Salman Khan's stunts were performed by a French stuntman named Jawed Al Berni. Lot of scenes were imperfectly edited, showing the stunt man's face throughout action sequences.
