Rotten TomatoesSultan is a Hindi sports drama film that revolves around Sultan Ali Khan, a wrestler who has retired from the sport, but decides to make a comeback and win the heart of his estranged wife, Aarfa, who is also a wrestler. Sultan's journey from being an out-of-shape wrestler to a champion is at the centre of his inspiring tale. The highly believable Salman Khan as Sultan Khan is what is the centrepiece of the film, which also features a wonderful Anushka Sharma as the love interest. Director Ali Abbas Zafar is brilliant as usual with another one of his intense and inspiring tales. Adding to that, film's soundtrack adds to the theme, with popular songs like Jag Ghoomeya and Sultan becoming instant hits. Overall, Sultan is a good blend of action, romance, and emotional scenes, albeit with its fair share of predictable moments. The performances and the screenplay are something to watch it for.
