Engaging Father Christmas is the sequel to Finding Father Christmas (2016). Both of these movies are inspired by the award winning and best selling author Robin Jones Gunn.
Released under three different titles in four of the major English-speaking markets. As such, it was originally broadcast as "Engaging Father Christmas" in the USA, then the next day as "A Family for the Holidays" in Canada and later that month as "Winter Wedding" in the UK and Ireland.

All of the returning characters from Finding Father Christmas (2016) have their original actors reprising their roles apart from Macie Juiles who was replaced by Nevis Unipan in the role of Julia Whitcomb for unknown reasons.
At around 53 minutes when they are loading the tree into the truck, it is plain to see that it's artificial. Later when they finish decorating it's a real tree.
