The tune of the song " Joshile" was earlier used for the song " Mummy" from the movie Chocolate.
John Abraham was signed for Zayed Khan's role but opted out.
The song "Chori Ke Baatein" was a Pakistani melody remixed for the film. The original was sung by Ali Zafar titled "Channo". A part of the tune was also very similar to R. D. Burman's song Dhanno Ki Aankhon from Kitaab. A part of the intro music was also inspired by the song Chori Chori by Alaap from the album Pattaka.
The song Joshile Java Ho was sampled from the song " Allah Aleik Ya Sidi" by Ehab Tawfik.
Neha Dupia made special appreance in the movie
