Trivia

On December 1, 1958, the Lady of the Angels Fire in Chicago killed children and teachers alike. That fire is extremely similar to the fire that affects several main characters in this movie.

"Dedicated to firemen everywhere."

This Christmas themed movie was shot in July in Halifax, Nova Scotia, a town known for it harsh snowy winters, and its hot summers. To mimic the winter conditions artificial snow was created and had to be constantly replaced for outdoor scenes as it melted very quickly.
