Rotten Tomatoes"Five Days at Memorial" is an American series which belongs to the disaster and medical drama genre. It is actually based on a 2013 book by Sheri Fink named the same as the movie. This disaster medical drama revolves around how New Orleans hospital's doctors and nurses struggle to take care of their patients and treat them during Hurricane Katrina when the facility is without power for 5 days. The story of the series shows how precious and fragile a person's life is. Show is full of different emotions- anger, love, fear and sadness, you can also go through all these emotions in a single episode. The cast of the series includes some really amazing actors and actresses such as Vera Farmiga, Cherry Jones, Cornelius Smith Jr., Robert Pine and many more. The brilliant filming along with perfect execution would make the audience so endearing that they would feel like they are in that horrendous moment themselves.

LifeCare Pharmacist, Ken Nakamanu, depicted accusing Dr. Pou of giving "lethal doses" of morphine to patients is fictitious. The real LifeCare pharmacist participated by providing morphine. A later inventory of the hospital pharmacies shows the drugs came from the LifeCare pharmacy on the 7th floor unit, not the Tenet's pharmacy on the 2nd floor where Dr. Pou had signed a prescription earlier in the week for morphine for a dying patient.
Bestselling author Stephen King was so moved by this Apple+ series he tweeted: Five Days at Memorial is the best limited series I've seen this year. Heartbreaking. All episodes are now streaming (September 17, 2022).
