These included: 'Magnum Force' (1973), 'Force: Five' (1981), 'Raw Force' (1982), 'Vigilante Force' (1976), 'Killer Force' (1975, 1976), 'A Force of One' (1979), 'Forced Vengeance' (1982), 'The Delta Force' (1986), 'Forced Entry' (aka 'The Last Victim') (1976), 'Death Force' (aka 'Fighting Mad') (1978) and 'Force 10 from Navarone' (1978).
Official publicity for the picture declared that the production assembled more than eighty-five martial arts stars to feature in the movie.
The meaning and relevance of the film's ''Force: Five'' is, according to home video sleeve notes, is two fold. First, It refers to'' a force of five agents chosen for their mastery of the martial arts and commando weaponry'' who go on an assignment to rescue a damsel and battle an arch-villain. Second, it refers to the code-name for the above as ''all information regarding this assignment shall be Top Secret''.
This action movie was said to have included two hundred fight sequences according to official publicity for the picture.
The period of principal photography on this picture was a production shoot that filmed entirely in the environs of Los Angeles, California during early 1981 that ran from about late January to late March that year.
