• Story:
  Kei Kurono and Masaru Kato, two high school students, are hit by a subway train in an attempt to save the life of a drunk homeless man who had fallen onto the tracks. After their deaths, they find themselves transported to the interior of an unfurnished Tokyo apartment, where they meet other recently deceased people. Their lives are now in the hands of a mysterious black sphere known as 'Gantz', which forces them to participate in a deadly game of hunting and killing aliens.
