TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The "Coke" Ferris wheel shown in the movie is located on the island of Okinawa, Japan in a shopping and entertainment district called "American Village."

Director Hoyt Yeatman's son, Hoyt Yeatman IV, came up with the original idea for the film when he was five years old. Yeatman liked his son's story so much that he brought it to producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

Nicolas Cage's 2nd time voice acting in a theatrical film, after The Ant Bully (2006).

In the opening logos for the film, the normal Jerry Bruckheimer Films logo was edited to have the guinea pig Hurley running up the road and then when the lightning strikes, he says, "Whoa, not cool!"

This is the second film that Nicolas Cage and Steve Buscemi made with Jerry Bruckheimer since Con Air (1997).

Popular Dialogues

"Speckles: We've got a worm to decipher. Darwin: You're a genius. Speckles: I'm a mole. I got a thing for worms. [slurps a rainworm hanging from the ceiling]"

"Hurley: Don't pay any attention to him. He's a quarter ferret. Bucky: I have no ferret in me, Hurley. That has never been proven. Hurley: Then why are you marked down? Bucky: I'm on sale! Everyone goes on sale eventually. Hurley: This should come as a surprise, but he grew up in the psych ward at UCLA."
