TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

John Brown, who played Brown, was a highly touted freshman running back who many analysts believed would be the #1 pick in the 1990 NFL draft by the Houston Oilers. Ignoring his agent's advice Brown decided to take a small, meaningless role in this film just weeks before the draft. While filming a fight scene Brown was to kick through a door. The stunt effects team had failed to swap to a breakaway panel resulting in Brown kicking clean through a mahogany door tearing his ACL, MCL, achilles and knee cap. After 6 years of grueling rehabilitation Brown ended up playing 2 games as a backup for the Edmonton Eskimos where he ran for 17 yards on 9 carries.

The role of Abe was originally cast with a different actor. Chuck McCann was in Honolulu with his wife. He had won an all expense paid trip to Hawaii on The Price Is Right (1972) after winning both Showcase Showdowns. The movie was shooting at his hotel when a series of misunderstandings resulted in him shooting scenes throughout the entire picture. It wasn't until the editing process that Andy Sidaris realized he had never cast Chuck Mcann in the role and had never spoke to him on set.

Phyllis Davis' last speaking role in a feature film.

This was Roberta Vasquez first appearance as Nicole Justin, a member of the "L.E.T.H.A.L Ladies" agency and second appearance in an Andy Sidaris film, the first time was in Picasso Trigger (1988) as a character named Pantera.

Kelley Menighan's debut.
