TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

After some time in the movie, Levine asks: "I don't suppose she has a sister", and Tulley answers: "Three brothers". The line: "I can't catch a break. What's her mother like?" was totally improvised. That's why Tulley almost chokes on the bourbon.

All of the three principal actors in Happy Hour are teetotalers. The alcohol drunk in the film was all colored apple juice. This according to the director.

In the first bar scene, Tully smokes heavily. In the rest of the film he does not smoke at all.

Popular Dialogues

"Dr. Pitcoff: My star... my most promising... God! How did you grow so old? Tulley: Day by day. Day by day..."
