TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The original director, Jan Eliasberg was fired during production and replaced by Savage Steve Holland.

The marching band that chases Marlon through the college fair is the Matador Marching Band of California State University, Northridge.

The library scene was filmed at Hollywood High School. The building is an example of the art deco period and the mural seen above the actors was completed in 1939.

Although the final music credit is listed as "Hail to the Matadors" by Richard Kaufman, what the Cal State University Northridge Matador Band plays onscreeen is actually titled "CSUN Fight Song" which is based on the original 1967 school song for the former San Fernando Valley State College. The up-tempo arrangement for marching band was done by CSUN alum, Steve Tyler.

Co-stars in "Revenge of the Nerds," Anthony Edwards and Curtis Armstrong both appear in the college fair scene, but have no interaction.

Popular Dialogues

"Coach Evans: We got Ronnie "Sure Hands" Paulson, goddamn it!"

"Marlon Browne: The interview is going to be key for me, since I'm the type that comes across much better in person than on paper. Jessica Kailo: Oh, you do?"
