Top Gun: Maverick couldn't have gotten any better than this. It brought back a rush of nostalgia and emotions, also the essence of its predecessor which in itself was a big hit and masterpiece. The sequel met up to the expectations and was definitely worth the hype. It was refreshing to see fresh faces and delightful to see the old ones as they are what the movie is all about. There is no better person suited for the role of mischievous, rule-breaking, rebellious, brave Maverick than Tom Cruise. The first part witnessed the loss of his best friend Goose and the second part tries to fill in that void with his son Rooster which makes the film emotional and exciting. The iconic great ball of fire really brought back some major memories and filled the audience with a rush of adrenaline. The missions were carried out beautifully and the execution was also done wonderfully. It is a must-watch film for sure.
