Both Hank Azaria and Paget Brewster have had recurring roles in the TV show Friends.
Andy Comeau got the part of Teddy because he didn't play it crazy the way the other actors did in the auditions.
Bob Lowry couldn't imagine anyone but Hank Azaria playing the part of Dr Craig Huffstodt. Indeed its Azaria's favourite role of his own.
Oliver Platt wasn't who producer Bob Lowry had in mind to play Russell. Hank Azaria recommended him for the role.
Blythe Danner was hooked on Izzy right from the start. She claimed Izzy is the most multilayered character she has ever played. The producers thought it would take many seasons to get to know everything about Izzy. Alas, Huff (2004) was cancelled after just two seasons on the air.
