The documentary I Am Thor was an official selection to the 2015 Slamdance Film Festival where it had it's world premiere. It was also Jon Mikl Thor's first time seeing the film.
The filmmakers Ryan Wise and Alan Higbee met Thor in 2000, began filming in 2001, finished shooting in 2014, and completed the film in 2015.
