After watching 10 min short film Kaadhalil Sothappuvathu Eppadi by Balaji Mohan, Siddharth found the film interesting, developing an interest to turn it into a mainstream full length feature film and promised the director to co-produce the film.
Owing Siddharth's popularity in Telugu cinema, the film was made as a bilingual, shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.
