The end of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! (1978) shows the beginnings of a carrot uprising. At the end of this Return of the Killer Tomatoes! (1988), two carrots with machine guns are in the final scene of the film. This continued through the rest of the series.
Originally announced in Return of the Killer Tomatoes! (1988), "...Eat France!" was intended to be the second sequel in the series, the third film later became Killer Tomatoes Strike Back! (1991). But that wasn't the case with Killer Tomatoes Eat France! (1992) being filmed last.
