TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Writer/director Tony Vitale first pitched the story as a sitcom in 1991. When nefarious executives tried to steal his idea, he quickly turned it into a play and, ultimately, the movie. Eventually it did transition to the small-screen as the short-lived series Some of My Best Friends (2001).

In one camera pan of Warren's apartment, we see a poster for the Broadway musical "Tommy." Anthony Barrile, who plays Warren, played the role of Cousin Kevin in that production.

Various characters refer to Manhattan as "the city."

A "guido" is a rude slang term for a working-class Italian-America man, usually from Brooklyn, Queens, or the Bronx.

Popular Dialogues

"Frankie Zito: Do you know what 'GWM' means? Joey Chips: Initials, right? Frankie Zito: No, 'GWM', [slight pause] Frankie Zito: stands for 'Guy With Money'."

"Terry: You know, you remind me of an infection that I once had."
