Liam Gallagher has stated the film wasn't his idea: "...for me it's a bit boring. It's just me living my life, doing what I do normally, but people like that kind of thing. But it certainly wasn't my idea. I didn't say, 'Let's go do another film about me, 'cause of my [..] ego!'"
