Extras could not be cast due to COVID-19 and are played by real civilians and Harrods employees.
Because of the hectic pace of completing principal photography in just 18 days, stars didn't have the time to properly prepare and for some scenes Hathaway's and Ejiofor's lines had to be taped to their eyeline.
The actors who portray David & Maria (Dulé Hill and Jazmyn Simon respectively) are married in real life. Both participate in the docu-series, "Black Love", telling the story of their relationship.
Cillian Murphy was originally rumored for the lead male role. Chiwetel Ejiofor was eventually cast.
