The film was delayed for three years it was started in 2008 and was completed by 2010 was to release the same year but due to financial issues it got released on 4th November 2011 a week after Shahrukh Khan's Diwali release Ra One.
This was second film signed by Mimoh Chakraborthy he had changed his look in the film by trimming his hair and reducing his weight but the film got delayed and Vikram Bhatt's Haunted released first in the same year.

Sunil Shetty offered the film Loot to Upen Patel but later changed his mind and signed Mahaakshay Chakrabkrthy.
