• Story:
  Set in the 1980s, the series follows Canon Daniel Clement, the rector of Champton, who finds his quiet life disrupted when a parishioner is found dead at the back of the church. Clement's proposal to install a new lavatory in the church has already divided the community, and the murder unearths long-held secrets, forcing him to work with the police to find the killer while holding his fractured parish together.
