Trivia

Rumored to be a pilot to a animated TV series spin-off to the Night of the Museum film series.

The character of Ahkmenrah was initially intended to appear in the movie, but was removed after legal issues arose with Rami Malek's estate.

Zachary Levi also voices Laaa, Larry Dailey's caveman look alike, in this film.

Thomas Lennon voices Teddy Roosevelt in this movie. He (along with Ben Garant) wrote the first two Night at the Museum movies.

This animated Night at the Museum film does not star Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan, Ricky Gervais, Mizuo Peck and Hank Azaria as Larry Daley, Jedediah, Octavios, Dr. McPhee, Sacagawea and Kahmunrah. Instead, they were replaced by Zachary Levi, Steve Zahn, Jack Whitehall, Jamie Demetriou, Kieran Sequoia and Joseph Kamal. Additionally, Thomas Lennon replaces the late Robin Williams as Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt respectively. Joshua Bassett voices Nick Daley, making him the third actor to portray the character after both Jake Cherry and Skyler Gisondo.
