After being hypnotized into committing murder, a young musician has to reconstruct his actions to clear his name.

Trivia

When Stan goes out walking the morning after his nightmare he passes by a place with a sign that says "New Orleans' Most Famous Coffee Drinking Place". That would be the Morning Call Coffee Stand that was on Decatur Street in the French Quarter. Opened in 1870, it moved to Metaire in 1974.

Frank Paul Sylos, who did the art direction, also did the art direction for "Fear in the Night," the original story, "Nightmare," by Cornel Woolrich.

Final film of Connie Russell and Marian Carr.

The Bressard's new car is a 1956 Dodge Royal.
