TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The movie was shot in 2002 using the Canon XL1 camera (standard definition) with Zeiss prime lenses. RatPack Productions also decided to use this movie as a launching pad for a new prototype device called the PNS, which had a spinning prism meant to give the image a more diffuse film look. The device often created sound problems on set and sometimes didn't work at all. It would rob the camera of light and quality and was considered a major mistake to use by the production crew, but RatPack insisted on it.

When we first see the outside of the Video Store, there is a red car with vines in it. This car belongs to sound recordist, Brian Michael Finn.

Nikos walking across the N.Y.C. street in the crosswalk was not a planned shot. The only reaction his walk got was from a local store employee who threatened to call the cops because of Nikos's sword and costume.

The sugar in the fake blood stuck to and tore up the protective sealant of the studio floor which had to be reapplied after the production.

The ring shown in the opening scene belongs to director, Andreas Schnaas. It is a special "Violent Shit" ring based on the film series.

Popular Dialogues

"Brunette Cop: [while "Violent Shit 3" is playing in the theatre] Look at this violent shit! Blonde Cop: I don't know, not really in the best taste for tonight isn't it? Brunette Cop: You've got that right, I hate this stuff."
